It isn't surprising in the least bit. The city's been building casinos and putting in new sports parks in the hope of it fanning out and getting people to move back. They don't understand and don't want to spend the money on fixing the internal problem. If the city spent as much time and money fixing the root of the problem, people would come back. So sad. Detroit used to be behind Chicago and New York as the biggest, most vibrant, and most populated cities in the country. Now, Detroit's just a bunch of abandoned houses. -OC
